# Housing Assistance Program Policy

## Section 1: Eligibility Requirements

1.1 Age Requirements
- Applicants MUST be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
- Applicants over 65 years of age qualify for senior assistance track.

1.2 Income Requirements
- Household income MUST NOT exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI).
- Applicants earning between 50% and 80% AMI qualify for Standard tier.
- Applicants earning below 50% AMI qualify for Priority tier.

1.3 Residency Requirements
- Applicants MUST be current residents of the program jurisdiction.
- Applicants MUST have resided in the jurisdiction for at least 12 consecutive months.

## Section 2: Documentation Requirements

2.1 Required Documents
- Valid government-issued photo identification is required.
- Proof of income for all household members is required.
- Proof of current address (utility bill, lease agreement) is required.

2.2 Prohibited Submissions
- Applications submitted with fraudulent documents will be denied.
- Incomplete applications will NOT be processed.

## Section 3: Application Process

3.1 Submission Deadlines
- Applications MUST be submitted by the 15th of each month.
- Late applications will be deferred to the next cycle.

3.2 Review Period
- Applications shall be reviewed within 30 business days.
- Applicants will be notified of decisions via certified mail.
